Have Faith

Faith,
A thought that many fail to relate.
First you must eliminate
the Hate.
In order to receive GOD's grace,
Take the time to retrace
and replace
your subliminal life once lived,
and embrace him and all of his glory!
You see because faith,
it does not dictate.
It holds no weight
unless of course you decide to chose him as your soul mate.
only then can it create for you a gate.
And serve you a plate from his platter.
While you focus on the things that really matter,
in life and in dreams.
Believing in the things that cannot be seen,
perpetuating his decree
in a manner that causes relief;
ridding your world of grief.
His love is not brief
for it is everlasting.
He's never casting down sorrow
but instead shines down hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Having faith that his givens is never borrowed.
For no greater companion will ever exist!
Amiss his abyss
giving you a chance to reminisce
over his well being.
A clear sight worth seeing.
Our God surpasses any human being
on this earth!
Unmeasurable worth
his heart knows no girth.
For he has wrapped you in his arms sense the day of your birth.
Driven by hope and guided by his purity,
sheltered by his security.
Blessings so enriching they endure an eternity.
Maturity as is invoked by us all,
there is no issue to big nor too small
because without faith,
we lose our grip on the latter and fall!

The Problems with Epic Treadmills

Epic treadmills have long been on the market and have a large customer base. They can boast a wide range of features which some people seem to think has taken place over quality.

Epic treadmills can now be seen in Costco, where previously Epic treadmills where sold by Icon, a billion company that has substantial resources to develop Epic treadmills and ensure that their design and credibility where taken into account.

Epic

Some people have labelled Epic treadmills as nothing more than a glorified toy, this being because of the lack of stability within the product. The feel of the epic treadmill when you use it is not as solid as it could be and does not feel as cushioned as some other products of the market do.

Epic treadmills are also at a disadvantage with being previously sold by Icon. Although Icon is recognized for producing some interesting treadmills, they have been unable to establish a sound reputation. They are known in the market as supplying poor customer service and support, and this has unfortunately been forwarded onto the reputation of the epic treadmill.

Another poor marketing ploy for epic treadmills has been that large merchants such as Costco are wrapping up their sale of epic treadmills combined with a television. This does not support the belief that you are buying a solid, quality treadmill, but instead leads you to believe that you are purchasing something amature.

If you are a seasoned athlete and in the market for a treadmill epic treadmills may not be the best buy for you. It is always advisable to research the market beforehand and ensure that you review all products and not just the epic treadmills range.

DCUO Stats Guide - All Stats In DC Universe Online Explained

Here's a quick little DCUO stats guide that will guide you through a lot of the stats in the game and will help you determine what kind of gear you should be putting on your character. One of the most common questions is "what gear is best to use," and this is something that will help to answer that. Each character is different, and by realizing that you will be able to make a much more informed decision on what gear is best for your person.

Health

Epic

Health is the key to staying alive. It's the amount of damage you can take before dying. As you can imagine, this is your primary statistic in the game because it practically is your life. In most games you have a health bar, and this game is no different. If your health goes to zero, you're dead.

Power

Power is a very useful stat because you need it to do a lot of damage. Generally the only people who don't strive to get power are healers and tanks, but even so, tanks should not overlook it when they can get it easily. Power is one of those stats that you should find somewhat easily because it is so common.

Restoration

This stat is only for healers. If you are a healer then this is one of your main ones, if not your most important one. Basically the more restoration you have is the harder your heals will heal for, and thus you will be able to keep others alive much more easily when you have a ton of restoration being stacked on your gear.

Might

Might is what you want if you are using a melee weapon or something similar to inflict damage on your opponents. Might is not for you if you are a Wizard / Sorcerer / Mentalist. If you are any of those then you want something else which I will cover below. Might is for those people using physical strength to attack their enemies, whether you are ranged or in melee distance.

Precision

Precision will directly increase your DPS (damage per second) because it will make whatever weapon you have better. Finding a balance between Might and Precision is key, but generally as you get both stats you will see what helps your DPS the most.

Vitalization

Vitalization is an important stat because you need it to regenerate power. However, never sacrifice any of the other important stats for this one. It's much better to increase your damage or health than to increase the rate at which you generate power. You can generally regenerate after you are done fighting.

Epic Commissions - Five Fast Helpful Hints To Get Website Internet Traffic Fast!

Online, one of the most significant keys to success is getting website traffic. The more visitors you have, the better your sales and profits. Presumably you have a niche and you know your keywords, and regularly conduct keyword research to stay on top of what's popular. Based on those assumptions here are five quick and easy tips to get website traffic fast!

Tip #1 Make sure you're actually tagging your keywords.

Epic

Do you spend a lot of time optimizing your content and then neglect to tag them on your webpage? Tags are where search engines look and if there are no tags they'll pass right by your web pages. Here's a quick brief on tags.

There are a number of tag types including,

* Title tags. Title tags are quite possibly the most important place to situate your keywords. Here's what they look like - Primary keyword phrase here.

Your title tag is where you place your primary keyword or keyword phrase. The sentence will describe your business in less than 90 characters.

* Header Tags. Header tags are next in order of importance to search engines. They're ranked in order of importance and look like this - Primary and/or Secondary keywords here

The "1" designates this header as the most important header on the page.

* Meta Tags. Meta tags provide the small descriptive text found underneath the title tag on the search engine results page. Like title tags these should be kept brief, informative and up to date.

* Alt Tags. Alt tags are used to provide a text description of a graphic. Each graphic on your site should have a description and an alt tag.

Tip #2 Add content to your site daily

Content is essential for traffic and a top search engine ranking. Content is what search engine spiders look for and index - without it there's nothing to index or rank. Give visitors and search engines a reason to visit and index your site. Make a commitment to provide daily, optimized content and your traffic will soar.

Tip #3 Procure valuable and relevant incoming links

The more websites which link to your webpages the more valuable search engines perceive you to be, though not all links are created equal. Search engines give more leverage to links from sites which are popular and credible and from sites which are relevant to your website topic.

There are different types of links.

- A direct link looks like a basic website address, for example, http://www.yourwebsite.com

- A text link occurs when the webpage address is embedded in the text. Readers simply click on the link and are redirected to a new website page.

- If the link is to an internal web page, for example an article published on a website, rather than the home page, it is called a "deep link."

You can encourage linking to your website by:

* Adding content to your site.

* Submitting to article directories.

* Publishing press releases.

* Blogging and participating in social networking forums, chat rooms and social networking sites.

Tip #4 Be Social!

Now more than ever before, internet marketing is about building a community. Whether you offer a forum on your website or you participate in social networking sites, social networking is a valuable traffic generating tactic. Sites like Facebook and Twitter can be powerful tools for generating links and traffic to your site - create a profile and then post comments, links to your site and ideas which generate conversation.

Get involved - many chat rooms and forums are industry specific, find those which cater to your industry, and begin participating. Speak to and connect with a highly targeted audience.

Tip #5 Advertise for more exposure and traffic

Advertising, when handled strategically, can be used to promote your content and products or services. PPC advertising is often the tool of choice because you control the advertising budget on a daily basis and have the tools to test and track your advertising efforts. Once you've honed your PPC ads the return on investment can be phenomenal in terms of traffic and purchases.

For maximum results, create a traffic and SEO strategy. Outline your plan and your goals and then take the necessary action. Take advantage of these five traffic and search engine tips to boost your business.

The Mighty Nimrod (Scarlet Threads - A History of Mystery Babylon, Part Four)

We have spoken elsewhere about the Bible's very short but significant history of one Nimrod. Thus saith the Lord. What saith the facts of history? And from these facts what legends have arisen? The answer to these questions may well be a major key to the understanding of the mystery called Babylon.

The name Nimrod is sometimes spelled Nemrod, and there is today a major city by the Euphrates called Nimrud, traceable to the Biblical city of Calah, mentioned above.

Epic Security

Encyclopedia readings will inform you that this Nimrod resembles the world-renowned Gilgamesh, similarly a Babylonian hero noted as a mighty hunter. Now this Gilgamesh was "priest-king" of "Uruk," or as in the Bible, "Erech", which we know to have been built by Nimrod. Starr, in A History of the Ancient World, adds this interesting piece of information:

"One artistic symbol drawn from [the Gilgamesh Epic], that of Gilgamesh strangling a lion, was handed down age after age until it appeared in medeival cathedrals in Western Europe."

Perhaps you see faintly where our tale leads us. Let us return to the main trail of evidence.

Rabbinical traditions say that Nimrod ordered the building of a tower as an act of defiance against God. They agree with fellow Hebrew Josephus, the famed first-century historian, who states in his Antiquities of the Jews (Book I, chapter 4, vs. 1-2), that God had intended the post-flood people of earth to send colonies abroad "for the thorough peopling of the earth."(Genesis 9:1 agrees!) They disobeyed, and the tower of Babel scattering was the outcome of their disobedience.

But why did they disobey? Josephus:

"Now it was Nimrod who excited them to such an affront and contempt of God...he persuaded them not to ascribe [strength] to God, as if it was through his means they were happy, but to believe that it was their own courage which procured that happiness. He also gradually changed the government into tyranny, - seeing no other way of turning men from the fear of God, but to bring them into a constant dependence upon his [Nimrod's] power. He also said...he would avenge himself on God for destroying their forefathers!

Forerunners of humanism, "up with people" mentality, and as you will see, a whole lot more...

Nimrod has been in some places equated with Marduk, the great Babylonian god who is the central figure in pagan mythology for thousands of years. Thus Nimrod could be placed Biblically wherever the term Merodach appears. (As in Isaiah 39:1, Jeremiah 50:2)

The names "niMROD" and "MeRODach" could indeed be from the same root.

He also sounds a lot like Greece's Orion and Rome's Romulus, mighty hunter-warriors about whom fantastic tales are spun. He is in fact a mythological Everyman, one who seems to be the very source of all of Babylon's lies, the man behind the myths.

So, this man is said by God to have been the founder of the Babylonian and Assyrian kingdoms. Do you not marvel how the inspired writer passes over this fact as though it were nothing? Men make a big deal of their kingdoms; God is not impressed.

What does grip God's heart is that His creation is once more straying from Him, trying to find a visible security, especially security from future floods, but also a way to get to Heaven without relationship to the Lord of Heaven. This way of doing spiritual business is the essence of Satanic worship.

It is important to identify here the land of which Babylon was a part, the "land between the rivers." Ancient history books begin the description of this Mesopotamia with an account of Sumeria, probably the first civilization known to man. Most of Sumeria's history lies before the flood. By the time of Abraham, (2000 B.C.) it is said that the Sumerian nation vanished.

Mesopotamia then becomes host to the "Semite." The history books usually omit that the Semite is the descendant of Sem or Shem, that son of Noah who will carry on the blood line that leads to the true "Seed of woman."Semitic presence in the middle of the third millennia B.C. corroborates the Biblical story of Noahic sources for all earth's present peoples.

Medieval Castles and Their Mazes and Labyrinths

Labyrinths and mazes have a long and interesting history and everybody is familiar with the story of the Minotaur in the Labyrinth at Knossos. This is the famous myth of the labyrinth that people would be sacrificed into. The hero Theseus killed the Minotaur and found his way back out by following a line of string that he unwound on his way into it.

Regardless of how true this myth is or whether the labyrinth of Knossos actually existed mazes and labyrinths hold a place of mystery and have often been integrated into the building of castles and cathedrals both indoor and outdoor. And there is a lot of speculation as to their purpose. There are actually several different theories and it is probable their purpose changed over the centuries.

One of the most important aspects of a medieval castle was security. They were built with the utmost in security and safety in mind and this is where a labyrinth or maze can further this need. It is theorized, and it makes sense, that mazes were often a way to confuse attacking forces. Soldiers entering a labyrinth could easily get disoriented and lost.

Another use of the labyrinth is shown by the labyrinth under Buda Castle in Budapest Hungary. It consists of a network of caves and tunnels that total over six miles in length. An extensive network like this served as a good hiding place in times of attack and a good place to meet in secrecy.

Epic Security

In the twelfth century the purpose and building of mazes changed and many churches and castles were designed with mazes that were built right into the floor or wall. These mazes were used as a way to meditate, undertake spiritual contemplation, or to simulate a pilgrimage. This type of maze or labyrinth was very popular in twelfth century Italy and France. The earliest surviving maze of this type is the labyrinth at Chatres Cathedral in France which was built into the stone floor of the cathedral around the twelfth century.

In Great Britain the style of religious maze never was very popular but they did develop their own form and style of outdoor maze that used hedges, trees, or grass. These served a variety of functions including recreation and the testing of horseback riding skills. This tradition of hedge mazes continues today and there are many castles that still have them that are open to the public. Some of the more famous ones include the Hampton Court Palace Maze and the Leeds Castle Maze.

Turf mazes are another style of outdoor maze that was very popular in Great Britain. These were mazes or labyrinths that were created by using grass or turf and being only a few inches tall it wasn't possible to get lost in them. They are much like a cross between hedge mazes and painted mazes. One of the more famous turf mazes that still exists today is the Saffron Walden maze located on the grounds of the ruins of Walden castle in England.

Medieval castles have a long history of being places of safety, security, and mystery and it is only natural that this mystery is furthered by the use of mazes and labyrinths. And these interesting structures had a wide variety of purposes from military to spiritual; and while not a whole lot is really known about the why of these structures it is rather fitting because mystery and secret is, after all, at the heart of every labyrinth.

Creating Incentives For Your Sales Team

Incentives are an important part of motivating any sales team to reach their potential. Incentives themselves are relatively well-known, and can include things like money, prizes, recognition, and other motivational encouragement. Therefore, it is worth examining four of the more important sales team qualities, which should be reinforced by incentives:
Encouraging targeted efforts Much of the frustration in sales efforts can often be avoided through intelligent pre-sales planning. By recognizing prospects "hot button" issues, as well as exactly how your products and services will alleviate these issues, your sales team can work both more efficiently and effectively by only addressing qualified prospects. Your sales force should also act as the front line in intelligence gathering for marketing efforts--identifying unmet prospect needs can then be the basis for the development of future products and services. Profit sharing can be one incentive used to ensure that efforts are focused on meeting and exceeding both current and future customer demands, and not just on short-term results. Encouraging proven skills Some sales skills are truly timeless, such as preventing objections (or handling them if they still occur). Developing incentives for sales team members who come up with especially effective objection handling or other sales techniques is recommended, since these methods will help all of your sales force win sales repeatedly in the future. Incentives can also be used to reward those who consistently implement proven sales skills, instead of approaching opportunities haphazardly. Encouraging best practices Within your own industry, there will be sometimes be idiosyncrasies when calling on particular clients. As one example, perhaps calling during the weekend can help your team contact an important decision maker. Recognizing these patterns, and encouraging your sales team to share this business knowledge with each other can often improve sales results for the entire group. It can be beneficial to create special incentives for members who provide this knowledge, particularly since job security concerns might otherwise prevent sharing of specialized business knowledge. Encouraging solid efforts In many cases, and particularly for low dollar value products and services, the results from sales efforts are a numbers game. The more qualified prospects you contact, the more appointments you can make, resulting in more selling opportunities. If the sales force has targeted their efforts properly, is using proven skills, and has also adopted best practices, then consistent effort may be the only piece of the puzzle that is missing. Including incentives for hard work may be the difference between achieving sales goals or not.

In short, by encouraging carefully targeted efforts, using proven skills, developing best practices, and giving a solid effort, most sales teams will have all the incentive needed to perform well. This in turn is critically important for driving top-line revenues, and ultimately, increasing profits.

Two Financial Ideas That Will Change Your Life

Tough times are upon us. People are losing their jobs and their homes. Folks are taking stock of their lives, and their finances are part of that reckoning. Most of us are hamstrung with debt and earning too little. As such, people are looking at their finances, wondering how they can change their circumstances. The two ideas that follow, if they are new to you, will change your life. I guarantee it.

Life has a way of taking us down conventional paths. We go to school. And for most of us, that means that we take out school loans to pay for college. College asks us to decide on our life's vocation (which is absurd) and take classes. That absurd scenario makes most young adults stay in school longer, and consequently, incur more debt. After school, we get a job and start paying for that debt. Ouch.

Epic Security

Not long thereafter, we start to tire of our old cars and apartment lifestyle. Maybe we get a raise, and that's all the incentive we need to go get more debt. Yep, we get a car and house loan. Now, we've arrived. We've arrived at the typical "American Dream" of complete indebtedness. That should be a strong hint that I disagree with this dream.

Most of us go through life not having a clue about assets and liabilities. They aren't taught in school, which is a crime. And parents usually don't know about them either. This also is a crime. It's really not hard to understand. Assets make you money, liabilities take it. That's oversimplified, I know, but it serves our purpose here. People tend to put their money into liabilities. They buy tons of clothes, cars, boats, etc. Don't be like those people. What you need to do is start spending money on assets. What are assets? Well performing stocks, businesses, and cash flowing real estate come to mind. But the sky is the limit here.

If you can grasp this first concept, you are ahead of ninety-nine percent of people. This will put money into your pocket, instead of taking it out. It's a simple idea that is very, very powerful. It's like growing your money tree. Keep the tree growing, and it will make you money season after season.

The second idea is equally powerful. Not too long ago, I was on a stock forum. I was in a particular thread, talking about a very good company stock. All the fundamentals of the company were great and their management was excellent. People in the forum were obviously smitten with it. And then I had to rain on their parade. I made one statement that started an epic flame session. I simply said, "This stock is great, but won't do well in the prevailing winds of the market." You would have thought I stabbed their mother.

What followed was a tirade on how the company was amazing. They pointed out the fundamentals ad nauseum. They talked about their track record and incredible management team. I commended them and told them they were correct. But I also told them that the primary trend was against them. That fell on deaf ears. Since that time, the company stock has struggled even with the incredible fundamentals and management team.

Macro factors are like the current in a river. You can swim with them or you can try to swim against them. When macro factors get unstable, that current becomes like a rip current. And you can't fight a rip current. This brings me to the second idea. Always, always invest with the primary trend. The hard part is knowing what the primary trend is. Knowing that requires study and education. And that is a whole other topic. But, once you start understanding market trends, it will change your life. Suddenly things won't be a mystery to you. You won't be able to play every investment perfectly, but now things are stacked in your favor.

Two simple ideas. They are simple, but they take time and commitment to execute. Do yourself a favor and learn them. It will change your life.

Keys to Opening New Accounts

As I coach and train leaders and their sales teams to bust out of their comfort zones with the goal of opening new accounts, several key practices have bubbled up as some of the best. So, here are the top three:

1.) Stop taking, "think it overs," "get back to me's" or "we'll let you knows" when cold calling. The only acceptable conclusion to every cold call is a "yes" or a "no" for an appointment. I'd suggest you do this because salespeople waste a lot of time calling on prospects that continue to say "maybe" or give them some kind of put-off. Meanwhile, there are virtually an unlimited number of prospects, for most businesses, that sales people could be cold calling.

Epic Security

Technique: One rule of effective cold calling is to get a "yes" or "no" at the end of every conversation. So, learn how to deal with the stalls, objections and put-offs when prospecting. For example, when someone says, "Call me in a month" say, "Sure, now suppose it was two months from now and I called you and we were on the phone, what do you suppose you'd be telling me then?" This technique effectively, and with finesse, eliminates the "call me in a month" put-offs. I call it the "take it to the future move." Note that while asking what they'd say if you call them further in the future than they asked, it's quite disarming!

2.) Start a lead generation program or expand on what you have. When I ask most sales people how many ways are they generating leads, they might have two or three. You need to have about eight to have some security and on-going, steady results instead of the peaks and valleys the most sales people suffer from! Different approaches fit for different industries.

Possible choices: networking and/or business groups; business journal, chamber advertising, web based networking groups - such as BlitzTime, newspaper, direct mail, inserts, trade shows, e-marketing, billboard, radio, TV, internet advertizing, blogging - such as Ezine, website optimization, sponsored links on search engines and social networks such as LinkedIn.

3.) Get focused on referrals and introductions. This is where 98% of companies and sales people are losing money. They hardly get any of the referrals they could. Have you set a referral goal at the end of each day as to how many you will ask for tomorrow?

Technique: Before you go on an appointment with a client, visit their LinkedIn profile. One of their connections could be a good candidate for your product or service. When you visit your client, ask them if they could help you by way of providing an introduction to the individual as they know them.

Finally, make a commitment to yourself to growing your business through acquiring new accounts. Commit a certain amount of time each week to finding new accounts. Learn how to do it effectively and consistently.

As David Sandler once said, "It's not where or how fast you start, it persistence that counts." Is now a good time to start?

Rift Epic Quest

The phrase "Rift Epic quest" is a reference to the Saga of the Endless consisting of two different versions or story lines that follow the progress of one character through the Rift game. The story lines are closely tied to the Rift factions chosen at the onset of the character creation and illustrates how both factions fight for the same goals using different approaches. Because of the extensive nature of the Rift Epic quest, it is impossible to write a short description about the individual facets of the quest but for general purposes, a short summary of the things you can look forward to when doing this quest is very doable.

The Guardian version of the Rift Epic quest consists of five total chapters: 1) Silverwood, 2) Scarwood, Moonshade and Shimmersand, 3) Stillmoor, 4) Experts, 5) Raids. The first three chapters follow the progression of a Guardian character as he or she graduates from one area into another. Simply put, the character is required to finish multiple quests stitched one after the other each acting as a pre-requisite for the next quest to become available. Owing to the complexity of the overall Rift Epic quest, walkthroughs are not yet completely available to map out all the quests, goals, requirements and rewards showing just what is necessary to get everything completed through the extensive expanse of the Rift world. The same can be said of the Defiant epic quest chain which also progresses based on the location of the character and lasts up until level cap or end game scenario.

Epic

One of the most important considerations for players planning to take up the Rift epic quest is to properly spec their build for the challenges that lie ahead. Because this is a solo quest chain, a balanced character is necessary to get through all the challenges and survive in the end. The best combination requires an offensive soul as the main for heavy damage and backed by a defensive soul for survivability. In the case where you are in a Soul class with healing or support abilities, it also does not hurt to pick the second off-soul from these so they give you more buffs and provide healing wherever applicable. For best results, balance the allocation points to 32-32-2 and adjust your playing style to suit a more balanced approach rather than purely relying on one skill set to win the battles.

Completing the Rift Epic quest can be one of the most fulfilling achievements you can do on the Rift game. It will test all your skills and mettle but with enough patience, luck and hard work, you can easily lay claim to the bragging rights for being one of the few characters to complete the Rift epic quest challenge.

Wii Epic Mickey - The Hottest New Disney Themed Game

Wii Epic Mickey is a new game that is nontraditional to most of Nintendo's games. This new game has more dark and twisted adventures than their usual sugary coated games. The Epic Mickey appears to be the most promising Disney-themed video game since Kingdom Hearts! It's all about a beautiful fantasy world, and it has a twisted plot. No doubt, it will be the Number 1 releases for 2010, and it's a Wii exclusive!

Warren Spector, born October 2, 1955, is a role-playing game designer, in addition to a computer game designer. Some of Mr. Spector's credits include: 1) Editor-in-Chief for all Steve Jackson Games Products; 2) He initially worked on games such as, Top Secret/S.I., the Marvel Super Heros role-playing game, and Spelljammer; 3) Disney Interactive contracted Warren Spector, Junction Point Studios, to create a new game featuring classic cartoon mice, cats and rabbits. The game has been confirmed to be a Steampunk title and designed exclusively for the Wii.

Epic

Part of Epic Mickey's narrative revolves around the most unlucky cartoon in Disney's history, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Walt Disney abandoned this creation in favor of Mickey, who continued on to become the company mascot. In the video game, Mickey is in Oswald's forgotten world, known as the Wasteland, and the rabbit is not happy to see him. Mickey wants to gain Oswald's trust, but Oswald hopes to destroy Mickey and claim the spotlight. Additionally, Mickey must stop the evil Phantom Blot and interact with robotic versions of Donald Duck and Goofy.

Most everyone knows Mickey Mouse as a happy smiling rodent, but he was not always a nice guy! In his early years, he was a mischievous jerk and rarely helped characters in need. Bringing both sides of Mickey to life, in the video game, players can choose to be a Hero or a playful Scrapper who picks fights with everyone.

Epic Mickey is completely different from Super Mario Brothers and Sonic the Hedgehog games. The Wii remote is used as a magic paintbrush to add or remove things to the environment, solve puzzles, enter new areas, destroy bad guys, or avoid fights. Are Top Salespeople Born or Made?

That's the question that was posed by a writer for a major trade publication. He also asked me if salespeople should adapt their sales approach to the personality types of their customers. Here's how I answered him...

A. Selling is a skill, comparable to accounting or engineering: Specific actions, properly applied in a proscribed order, produce the best results. Given enough motivation, almost any skill can be learned without formal training. Two of General Motors's top engineers never took an engineering course. Michael Dell didn't major in computers and dropped out of college.

Epic

B. Similar aptitude patterns are seen in highly successful salespeople, trial lawyers and teachers. Salespeople who lack the right aptitudes and attitudes can substantially improve their sales skills, if they are willing to change their behaviors. The changes they need to make are simple, yet it requires a lot of self-discipline to make those changes.

C. The type of training that is most likely to produce dramatic improvement is based upon the latest understanding of how the human mind works. It eliminates persuasion in favor of committed agreements.

D. The theory that salespeople can assess a customer's personality type, and then adapt their selling techniques accordingly, has been widely promoted. However, we have never seen a salesperson that can demonstrate that skill.

No one (or customer) has a static personality; we all change continuously, reacting to stimuli as we receive them. It's hard enough to figure out anyone's personality type; it's extremely difficult to analyze and react to it moment-to-moment. I believe that only trained, experienced psychologists are likely to be able to make practical use of that theory.

So, Are Top Salespeople Born or Made?

We studied the top 1% of salespeople across 23 different industries. Some are self-made, learning what works best through intuition and experience. Many were trained, learned several selling systems, and eventually settled on the selling system that produces outstanding results. The ironic thing is that most of the top salespeople are doing the same things, and what they are doing is radically different from the other 99% of salespeople. Our conclusion is that top salespeople are clearly made.

Best Penis Enlargement Product and Some Answers For You

The best penis enlargement product question is one that gets asked regularly. What we are going to do in this article is give you some facts surrounding why the topic is so commonly talked about, elaborate on those facts with some solid explanations and give you a more clear understanding of the topic. The question about what exactly is the best penis enlargement product comes up so often for a variety of reasons. First there is a lot of confusion out there. Second is there's a lot of pressure on us men to perform like a sexual master in the bedroom. Nothing seems to convey power in the bedroom like penis size, and therefore it's a focal point for many of us.

Let's examine why we as men need to have the largest penis possible.

Epic

Fact 1: 6 out of 10 long-term relationship breakups report that sexual problems were a major contributory factor.
Does it get any more pressured than that? The very stability of our relationships would seem to depend on our sexual abilities and assets. This makes penis enlargement a serious point of consideration for many of us men, and finding the best penis enlargement product is very important to us.

Fact 2: 75% of women say they would like their partner to have a larger penis.
So, we now have established that there is statistical evidence that verifies that size does matter. For every 4 women you see, 3 of them wished they were with men that had larger penises. This places yet more importance on why we need to have the largest penis possible.

Fact 3: Studies indicate that the average sized penis is 6.5" in length.
There are two big questions this brings up for men. First of all, how do you compare to that measurement, and secondly - do you really want to be just average? Of course you don't, and that's yet another indication of societies pressure on us men to have larger penises.

As you can see, men have a lot of pressure to have very large penises. If nothing else, we are under significant pressure to be sure that we have the largest penis possible. You can see from the 3 facts given above that finding the best penis enlargement product on the market is a serious pursuit for many of us men, not just because we want a larger penis but because society expects us to have large penises. As shown in the first two facts, having a large penis may be the difference between having a successful relationship or breaking up with your lover because of your penis size! If that's not pressure, I don't know what is.

Best Penis Enlargement Product and Some Answers For You

If these things worry you, you can Stop These Problems and begin to enlarge your penis, starting tonight.

It is a Genuine Way to Permanently Enlarge Your Penis at home using your hands. That method has a 98.8% approval rating, offers a money back guarantee, and delivers lightening fast results with gains of up to an inch in under a month.

Famous Women Tennis Players

When you consider famous women tennis players, possibly the most historic might be Billie Jean King, who fought relentlessly for equal money for female tennis players. Not only was King a tennis superstar, possessing outstanding talent on the courts, but she was elemental in rallying support for more prize money for women. She gained publicity and humorous fame for her televised matches against male tennis pro Bobby Riggs. She proved victorious in this 1973 "Battle of the Sexes", thus making her point that women deserved the same prize money as men. Their tournament was viewed by over 50 million people.

Many famous women tennis players have similar backgrounds. Some of their fathers were professional tennis coaches, so they started playing at a very young ages, with some as young as 5. The fruits of their labors resulted in multiple wins in world class tournaments. Some examples of these women include Maria Bueno (Brazil), Tracy Austin (US), Lottie Dod (UK), Mary Pierce (CAN, played for FR), Chris Evert (US), Jennifer Capriati (US), Monica Seles (Hungary/US), and Martina Hingis (Switzerland).

Epic

Other women are shining examples of pursuing excellence at an older age. Charlotte Cooper (US) was the oldest player to win at Wimbledon (1908), at age 37. Dorothea Douglass Chambers rose to fame with a seven title win in 1903. After retirement she continued playing doubles until she began coaching.

Women have scored more than point records in tennis. Althea Gibson broke the color barrier in women's tennis, being the first African-American to win a title at Wimbledon. Lottie Dod, nicknamed "Little Wonder", is named in the Guinness Book of World Records as "most versatile female athlete".

Famous women tennis players have long careers. Stefanie Graf was ranked #1 in the Women's Tennis Association for a record of 377 weeks. In 1999, Graf was named the greatest female tennis player of the 20th Century by the panel of Slims Championships. Martina Navratilova reigned as the #1 female tennis player for forty years, 1965-2005.

Sisters Venus and Serena Williams have both achieved #1 status in the world of ladies tennis. In 2000, Venus defeated Serena at Wimbledon. Maria Sharapova exhibited amazing agility and strength in her games and is known for power plays. Anna Kournikova is also known for her career in modeling. Amelie Mauresmo is famous for strong net play and powerful one-handed backhand strokes. She began playing tennis at age 4. In 2004, she made it to the Wimbledon semi-finals, only to lose to Serena Williams.

Other women tennis players of note are Justine Henin-Hardenne and Ana Ivanovic. Henin was World Tennis Association player of the year in 2004 (for 2003), and in 2008 (for 2007). Ivanovic was the top seeded player at the 2008 US Open, and was scheduled to play in the Olympics, but was sidelined due to a thumb injury.

The ruling WTA was formed in Houston TX, in 1973, at the first Virginia Slims tournament, featuring Billie Jean King. Today's tournaments offer millions of dollars in prizes.

Watch the Pacific

I know a lot of World War II buffs have been looking forward to the new miniseries The Pacific for a long time now. It seems like only yesterday when I saw Band of Brothers and had to pick my jaw up from the floor by the end of that epic series. I'm a long time World War II buff and enthusiast and I've been fascinated by World War II for many years now. Older black and white films from the John Wayne era were interesting and exciting but in recent times some of the luster of those old films has faded; they were more valuable for the patriotism and celebration of American heroism rather than as depictions of history.

For some of the real soldiers who lived through some of the most vicious battles that mankind has ever experienced, those old films seem almost cartoonish. Real history is raw, and the war that these men fought and lived through was cold, unforgiving, and capable of taking the life of any man. In the real war there were certainly heroes but every man felt fear and every man knew that know matter how brave or cowardly he was, no matter how skilled or unskilled, whether lucky or unlucky, he might die at any moment.

Epic Security

This is the kind of war that's revealed to us in HBO's new miniseries The Pacific. A dirty, messy war of bitterness, hatred, racism and above all, violence. The stakes were just as high in the Pacific as they were in Europe; to secure for all time the basic universal rights of all mankind, to liberate the oppressed from the brutality of the Japanese, and to avenge the attack on Pearl Harbor. However, as brutal as the Germans in Europe were, they often took POWs and believe it or not, often treated them in accordance with Geneva conventions despite the occasional massacre. The Japanese did not appreciate the concept of POWs, they did not recognize the concept of surrender, either for their enemies or themselves.

The war in the Pacific, more than America's war in Europe, was a war of extreme violence and brutality. The veterans who fought in that long unappreciated theater have not been given a chance to have their stories heard and understood the way it is in this new miniseries The Pacific. While many can't or won't find the time to read the autobiographies that the miniseries is based on, they can at least watch the experiences of these men unfold in this ten part epic and witness what this war was really like from the points of view of the men who experienced it.

TransCanyon Epic - Rim2Rim2Rim at the Grand Canyon, Arizona in One Day

There are places in this world that you dream about....that make you feel like a kid....that gets your heart pumping every time you think about it....and above all makes you smile. The Grand Canyon has been such a place to me for over 20 years. I have travelled below the Rims 100 times, been to Phantom Ranch around 60 times, and prior to this adventure have completed 32 Rim2Rims. Pulled out of the Canyon in 116 degree debilitating heat, in 14" of fresh snow and during a 3" rain storm with numerous flash floods which caused me to wade thigh deep washes. People have died when I've been down there and I've also had the opportunity to save a friends life...The Canyon runs the gambit of physical endurance and mental fortitude. As a high altitude mountaineer, the Canyon has galvanized itself as my training playground and mental compass.

After completing the most recent Rim2Rim2Rim in October, 2008 at a brisk 15:40. I felt it was time to step up to the plate and hit one out of the park. We have always gone from the South Rim to the North Rim (via Kaibab Trail) in one day, taken a days rest, then completing the adventure by hiking from North to South. We have done this in mid-May and mid-October for many years, some times with as few as three people and other times with over twenty hikers. Over the years I have noticed an explosion of hikers and runners going R2R2R during the prime season - perhaps 10 times as many as 10 years ago! I attribute this to our world-wide addiction to extreme sports along with numerous published articles on this epic adventure. Although the Canyon is a dangerous arena, and must always be treated with caution and respect, I was beginning to feel that our trips were becoming "normal". I yearned for a new adventure, the ultimate Canyon challenge, hiking from the South Rim to the North Rim and then immediately doubling back and going from the North Rim to the South Rim, a TransCanyon Epic - a 44 mile non-stop adventure to be completed in one day.

Epic

My discussions began immediately with my wife, Wendy along with Jeff Akins (Eagar, AZ) and Roy Laos (Greer, AZ) - all three of them have completed Rim2RimRims in the past year. We all train at high altitude above 8000' in the White Mountains of Arizona. Our typical Sunday hike is an 18-20 miler with 3000'+ vertical. We had heard of a couple of local guys (Hamblin's) going R2R2R non-stop utilizing the Bright Angel Trail in 24 hours. Although the BA Trail is 4 miles or so longer, we decided to both commence and finish on the South Kaibab Trail....we call it the Phantom Ranch Elevator and have pushed up from Phantom to the South Rim in less than 2 1/2 hours on previous R2R2Rs. We also discussed our starting time at great length - should we start at night and finish during the day or vice-versa. We all agreed that from a psychological standpoint - finishing during daylight would be beneficial.

I have spent a substantial amount of time climbing in the Andes, and prefer to sleep until 11pm and start at midnight. However, Jeff was truly motivated and wanted to eat dinner and hit the trail around 6:30PM. I couldn't fault Jeff's enthusiasm, and agreed to the earlier start time. We were also informed by the Back Country Office that all fresh water was turned off from Phantom Ranch to the North Rim - no water at Cottonwood, Roaring Springs or the Supai Tunnel. So, I packed my portable water filter and was ready to re-hydrate along Bright Angel Creek. Finally, we needed a place to "base camp". My wife Wendy volunteers her time with the Grand Canyon Field Institute and assists with their "Box of Rocks" program that promotes Grand Canyon geology to schools across the country. Wendy made contact with her associates at the GCFI and asked whether they could help with lodging. The gods were truly smiling on us, since we were able to utilize their trailer for the weekend as a base camp.

As we drove up to the Grand Canyon that mid-November afternoon, Wendy confided that she was not going to participate in the full R2R2R. She didn't feel that she had enough training time to complete the circuit. She would see us off at the trailhead, then hike down the South Kaibab the following morning to meet us somewhere along the trail. She agreed to a two-way radio and would "watch camp"...or sleep, while we worked our way through the Canyon at night.

After delicious steak and vegetable dinner on the South Rim, we did one more gear check and stepped off into the darkness at 6:30pm. Unfortunately, my hydration pack completely leaked out on the short trip to the trail head. Apparently, a pack was set on the "bite tube" and gravity drained my water supply all over the cargo area of my Sequoia. A bummer, but not worth taking the time to go back and re-fill the hydration bladder....after all it was a mid-November night with the temperature hovering around 40 degrees. However, within a quarter mile two hikers were coming up the South Kaibab trail, I relayed my predicament and they generously provided me with the rest of their water - more than enough to get to Phantom Ranch. Hiking the South Kaibab at night is an experience, especially going down the trail. Our headlamps provided a bright white "flat" light, which effected my depth perception.

So I travelled a little slower than during daylight hours and kept on thinking - this is where you need to save your energy - this hike is about going up!!! We arrived at Phantom Ranch in a little under 3 hours and enjoyed a couple cups of coffee to keep us awake. I spoke with a friend of mine (Vicki) at the Ranch and she informed us that the water was indeed shut off on the way to the North Rim. So off we went into the moonless night and into one of the darkest sections of the Grand Canyon known as The Box. Several times along the trail we turned off our headlamps to admire the complete ebony. At one point near Phantom Creek, Roy was standing 2' away from me and I could not make out that he was there. We decided that without headlamps, we would either have to wait until daylight or crawl.

In less than 2 1/2 hours we had made our way to Cottonwood Campground and true to there words, the water was shut off. We relaxed and had a quick bite and then made the less than two mile hike to the former Roaring Springs Ranger Station (Bruce Aiken's old digs). This is where we had planned to access Roaring Springs Creek and filter water - to my complete amazement the water was turned on. I have no idea why the Back Country Office would not share this information with hikers - intentionally creating a dangerous environment. I have been to Roaring Springs at least twenty times during the winter months and the water was always on....and apparently still is....

From Roaring Springs to the North Rim is the crux of the hike. It is a very steep trail and thankfully does not have the amount of "mule impact" as the South Kaibab or Bright Angel. Riding mules down into the Canyon is part of the legendary folklore - but they are very, very destructive to the trails. As we began our ascent into Roaring Springs Canyon the temperature began to fall rapidly. We experienced pleasant 55 degree weather across the Canyon floor, but we were going up and elevation and the wind was begining to blow. Within an hour we had made our way to the walk bridge below the Supai Tunnel. We had planned to stop at the bridge, but the wind was begining to swirl and we felt it was too cold for a quick rest - we pushed on up the redwall formation. Jeff was setting the pace, with Roy following and I was the caboose. This was by plan, as a mountaineer I'm prone to "summit fever" and have a tendency to push hard to the top of whatever the objective. (I have gone over 20,000' 15 times in my life with 8 high altitude summits.) Jeff was setting an excellent pace, we did not want to travel too fast, since we would sweat too much and get cold - too slow and you're immediately cold.

We stopped just before the Supai Tunnel for our final rest stop before slogging up the last two miles to the North Rim. We knew stopping after the Supai Tunnel would be dangerous and very uncomfortable. The geographic feature of the Supai Tunnel is very interesting - no matter the time of year, once you pass through the Tunnel, the temperature normally drops 5 -7 degrees. Again this was certainly the case, the wind had also picked up considerably. Onward we pushed up the 10% + grade above the Tunnel. The trail was in excellent condition and partially frozen - no snow. Finally, we rounded the last switchback at the "specimen box". I let Jeff and Roy know that we were a thousand foot straight shot to the North Rim. The wind and cold was incredible - blowing 35 mph with our wind chill at zero degrees.

Once on top we quickly removed our packs and put on every stitch of clothing we had available. We were cold to the core and had trouble with normal duties such as pack zippers and buckles. We had gone from the South Rim to the North Rim in 9:15, an excellent night hike time - it was now 3:45AM. In less than 5 minutes we were on our way down the North Rim. I have been seriously cold before and have experienced frost nip on my toes, fingers and face - this was begining to feel familiar. I had tied a bandanna around my mouth and nose, with the hopes of introducing warmer air to my face and lungs..it helped, but not much. The sliver of the waning moon finally appeared, unfortunately not casting enough shadow to assist with the trail, but we welcomed the change of scenery. Within a 1/4 mile Jeff began to feel dizzy, he had the mumbles and the stumbles and I sensed the beginning stages of hypothermia and hypoglycemia - a potentially lethal combination. We stopped in a sheltered area as Jeff wolfed down a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, within minutes he was shivering again - a good sign. As we moved down the steep trail for the next hour little was spoken, we were all concentrating on getting down to lower elevations as quickly as possible.

Once past the Supai Tunnel we were beginning to receive the first glimmers of the approaching dawn. I noticed Roy was walking funny in front of me - after following someone for over ten hours you really get to know their gait. Roy admitted that his knees were beginning to give him trouble, not a good sign. Roy was not utilizing trekking poles, the steep descents in the Grand Canyon will play havoc with normal joint functions. I am a single pole user and lent him my pole for the remainder of the descent down to Roaring Springs. Once we reached the former Ranger station the weather was warm again, we topped off our bottles and hydration packs, ate more food and began the long trek across the Canyon floor. Unfortunately, Roy's condition had taken a turn for the worse. The pain had moved out of his knees and into the flexors of his hips. He was experiencing acute pain, probably caused by aggravating the nerves around his hips. Our pace slowed to a zombie like shuffle, less than 2mph. Roy took some Ibuprofen tablets and we resumed our stoic pace.

The sun was now warming our faces as we entered The Box, shortly passed Phantom Creek my wife Wendy rounded the corner to meet us. We were well past our scheduled meeting time at Phantom Ranch. After 5 murderous hours we made our way into the Ranch - a hubub of hiker activity. It was awesome to see people again, there was not a soul on the trail all night long. We were all a little slap-happy from sleep deprivation. We ate and drank and tended to our needs. We decided to form a plan to get Roy up and out of the Canyon. Roy is a tough person, and we all knew that he was facing the biggest physical challenge of his life. We began to form a plan, Roy would ascend the steep South Kaibab Trail rather than Bright Angel. The Kaibab is steeper, but two miles shorter - after all, canyon miles are canyon miles. Jeff would assist Roy up the trail, Wendy and I would move ahead and make preparations on top for their arrival. We would stay in close radio communication.

Ascending the South Kaibab Trail is my favorite part of the R2R2R hike. It offers fantastic views and is an awesome uphill 7.5 mile gut check. The first three miles of the trail are the toughest, once you reach Skeleton Point the hike up is more than half over, and in my mind at least is easier. So I set a strong pace and we quickly caught up with Roy and Jeff. I was feeling great, with boundless energy - cranking Linkin Park in my iPod. I chuckled a few times, I like to hike, bike or ski with hard driving rock and roll -the beat is everything to me. Jeff on the other hand hikes with the Eagles, "Taking it Easy" on the trail would probably put me to sleep! As we moved up across the base of O'Neill Butte I was beginning to feel the effects of close to 40 miles of non-stop hiking. Wendy was right behind me and staying in routine radio contact with Roy and Jeff. I began wondering if we could actually make it out of the Canyon in less than 20 hours, my original schedule called for 18 hours. At the top of O'Neill Butte and just below Cedar Ridge - I hit the wall. I had approximately 2 miles to go and knew that I could normally make the South Rim in around 45 minutes. This would put me right at 20 hours. My hopes began to fade as I sat down, drank some Emergen-C and ate a couple of Zone bars. I let Wendy know that I was going to enjoy the Canyon for a few minutes as we perched on the edge of the Butte - gawd it felt great. Roy and Jeff were now entering an area we call "The Ladders". A grueling 10 switch-back 800' jump in elevation culminating at a cave. Roy had now taken 2 Morphine tablets to ease the pain, but was moving steadily.

As Wendy and I reached the South Rim, we passed our last set of female hikers. They asked where we had come from, since I obviously looked like hell in a handbag. I smiled and let them know that we had come from the South Rim 20 and a half hours ago. The Rim always feels great after a long hike and this time was no different - level ground, warm sunshine and a cooler of Budweiser. Roy and Jeff were now at the base of O'Neill Butte and making progress after another round of Morphine. We hopped into the Sequioa and made our way back to the base camp trailer. I drank three beers along the way and was looking forward to a long warm shower. We joked a little about having me turn around and doing it again...not this time, the temptation to sleep was amazing. Once we cleaned up and headed back to the South Rim we had a 10 minute wait before we could see Roy and Jeff moving up the trail. Ingenuously, Jeff had his trekking pole trailing behind him with Roy holding on. Jeff was pulling Roy up and over the steep mules steps littered along the South Kaibab. As Roy took the final steps onto the South Rim, I could tell the incredible amount of relief in his eyes. He had made it, beaten the odds in an unbelievable show of strength and character. We handed him a beer and gently moved him into the front seat of the Sequoia. Everyone was relieved and smiling.

Back at the base camp trailer we sat Roy down on the couch with the cooler as his footrest. He was incredibly funny, 4 hits of Morphine, a couple of beers and endorphines dancing through his system made for very entertaining conversation. We discussed our trip and outlined a new plan for next years' TransCanyon Epic. We had been awake for over 38 hours - way too long. We decided that descending both Rims at nighttime sounded great, but did us little good. We will start at 5AM in the morning and utilize 12 hours of daylight rather than 12 hours of darkenss. We like the mid-November venue, heat was not an issue, but cold weather most likely caused Roy's pinched nerves in his hips. We would carry slightly larger packs with additional clothing. We had experienced a 70 degree temperature swing during our time in the Canyon. I only wore two layers and then an Ibex vest on top, a light shell jacket would of been awesome.

Roy worked the following day and went on a long hike with us the following Sunday. He has experienced no ill side effects from his adventure. We've even planned a 24 mile Hermit Loop hike in December, Roy was the first to agree to go back to the Canyon! If you're thinking about making a TranCanyon Epic R2R2R non-stop hike please feel free to contact me via email. Training 50 miles a week and cross training on a mountain bike will be extremely helpful.

Epic

First of all, Epic treadmills are very affordable-a major plus in this day and age. They offer large walking areas, ideal for larger walkers or joggers. However, you need to be absolutely sure that you have a motor with enough power to handle the walking area, or it may burn out. Many Epic models offer limited engine power, causing many models to burn out relatively quickly.

The Epic treadmills, unfortunately, do not offer much cushioning for your knees or back. This is not good, especially if you plan on spending a lot of time working out.

Spending a large amount of time on a treadmill that lacks good cushioning can be disastrous for your health. This is a major consideration to mull over before purchasing an Epic. Also, a brand of epic treadmills (T60) was recently recalled due to safety issues.

The bottom line: compared to other treadmills, Epic doesn't offer much for the money. If you do plan on purchasing an epic, be absolutely sure that there aren't other options available to you before you do. There are other brands that offer more bang for the buck.

Kamangari Paintings of Kutch

The Kutch region has a rich cultural heritage. One symbol of this was the Kamangari school of painting peculiar to the region. In old days the rich and the ruling class patronized these artistes to paint the walls of their houses, places of work and worship.

The speciality of Kamangari art was that the paintings were done on on a wet plastered background so that they lasted longer. The artistes used brushes made from the bark of palm trees, using colors extracted from leaves, pebbles and clay mixed with gypsum.

Epic Security

The subjects of the painting were scenes from the Indian epics as also from the day-to-day life of the people of those days. However, some such paintings featured scenes of events and objects which were not existent in the Kutch region of more than a hundred years ago. The reason given for this is that many people from this region migrated to other parts of India as well as abroad for seeking livelihood. There they came into contact with railways, aeroplanes, cricket matches which was something novel for them. When they came back to their native places, they got the Kamangar artistes to paint these scenes on their walls.

When the English arrived in Kutch they provided yet more subjects to the Kamangari artistes who were now depicting the Burra Sahibs (the big bosses), uniformed policemen, band parties in their murals. The first English political agent of this region Capt. McMurdo got his residence walls painted with the scenes from the Indian epics by Kamangari artistes. His bungalow is one of the few places where this art has been preserved till now.

A special thing worth noting about this art was that most of the Kamangari artistes were Muslims but they had no problem painting the Hindu epics or human figures in their work. While most of the Kamangari paintings were done walls, some artistes used paper for this art.

After enjoying the popularity for a very long time, the art started dying out in with the coming of the nineteenth century and now it is as good as extinct with no active Kamangari artistes engaged in this work. The decline of the art is attributed by scholars to the socio-economic changes of the region as well as arrival of other mediums of expression and entertainment.

But as the paintings were done with very long-lasting colors, there are a few places in Kutch where they can be seen. And the Kutch Museum has some samples of the art which bears testimony to the unmatched, exquisite skill of the accomplished artistes. The notable examples are the Muhharam scroll in the Kutch Museum and the Royal Procession roll in the Aina Mahal, another museum in Bhuj.
